Immigrant Women's Information Exchange

The IWIE is a cross-cultural  forum where any one interested in the issues impacting the lives of immigrant women can gather to learn about existing programs and services and meet other people who are a source of referrals. EVERYONE IS WELCOME. The IWIE meets the fourth Tuesday of every month at Camillus House, 336 Northwest 5th Street.

Recent IWIE topics:

« Difficulties immigrant women face without identification and the resulting  economic challenges.

« Navigating domestic violence services and the misinformation, confusion and fear faced by immigrant women.

« Global corporate and consumer responsibility to female workers.

« Recent immigration raids and the role of police in enforcing immigration laws.

If you have anything that you would like to see on the agenda, let us know.  Email Sophie Brion (sophie@womensfundmiami.org) or call (305) 441-0506.
