Portrait of Women

Women's Advocacy Project is in the process of creating a first-of-its-kind study of women and girls in Miami-Dade County. The idea for this report emerged from numerous interactions with community leaders and advocates who have expressed a need for a publication that identifies the specific needs of women of girls in Miami-Dade. The portrait will look closely at the issues and challenges facing women and girls through interviews, community forums and statistical data and will highlight critical challenges to women and girls to inform our  policy makers about their real needs and concerns.
