ABOUT THE MIAMI WOMEN'S SUMMIT:

On May 12, 2007, close to 300 women  gathered in Miami to forge a common agenda to improve the lives of women and girls in Miami. We crossed cultural, racial and generational lines and moved beyond partisan politics to create an action plan that will impact public policy and achieve the progress that women and girls in Miami-Dade County deserve.

Thank you to Commissioners Audrey Edmonson, Sally A. Heyman, Barbara J. Jordan, Natacha Seijas and Katy Sorenson for leadership and financial support for this Summit.
