grantee organization about how the grant
impacts the lives of the women and girls that it
serves.

Luncheon

The Women's Fund
Annual Luncheon serves as the major fundraiser of
the year. The Luncheon attracts more and
more attendees every year and includes exhibits and remarks by grantees as
well as a raffle with fabulous prizes. |

Philanthropic Foodies Dinner |
|
South
Florida’s most sophisticated food and wine connoisseurs will savor exquisite wines and a
four-course meal at The Sixth Annual Philanthropic Foodies Dinner at
Riviera Country Club. Hosted by Sue & Doug Gallagher, Kate Callahan & Peter Benjamin and the Philanthropic Foodies Committee,
proceeds from the May 20, 2008 dinner benefit Women's Fund grantmaking. |

Now in its
fourth year, The Young/Legal Professionals
host a networking and cocktail
reception to raise money that will
awarded to Women's Fund grantee partners whose programs
remove barriers to women
and girls in accessing government
services and provide legal aid to
homeless women and victims of domestic
violence. |

Presented in conjunction with
ArtSpring, Women’s Fund of Miami-Dade and
Bridging the Gap, this event will bring forth the raw, fierce and
honest writings of women in prisons across Florida, and
around the country, and will be performed by South Florida
celebrities and community leaders.
Performance will be
held at the Gusman Theater.

(CREW) - Miami hosts a fundraising event
for Women's Fund of Miami-Dade that has
become one of the premier networking
events on
the commercial real estate calendar.
Since 2002, CREW-Miami has
underwritten $100,000 of Women’s Fund grants addressing
issues of homelessness and economic disparity. |

Conferences
|

Throughout the
year, the Women's Fund sponsors or co-sponsors conferences
for non-profit professionals. Past topics include capacity
building, media strategy, and
domestic violence in the workplace.

Throughout the
year, the Women's Fund hosts speakers and seminars that are
pertinent to our mission. Sometimes we are the beneficiary
of special opportunities that arise when a speaker is in town
or a corporation offers us participation in one of its programs
