Debi Harris, Chief Executive Officer
Deborah M. Harris previously served as the Vice President of Development for the Women’s Fund Network (WFN) in San Francisco, CA. A graduate of Howard University, Washington, DC, and Leadership California, Debi has a combination of non-profit fundraising experience and sales management expertise acquired throughout 20 years with the corporate business sector. A leader in her profession, Debi has served on many boards including SAGE Scholars – Berkeley, CA; Goodwill Industries of San Francisco, San Mateo, and Marin Counties; San Francisco Alumnae Delta Community Foundation, and the American Diabetes Association.
Fran Katz, Associate Director
Fran serves as Manager of Programs and Grants. She is the liaison and resource person for grantee partners and grant applicants. During her over 10 years with Women’s Fund, she has worked with several hundred grantees, representing a multiplicity of issues, communities and strategies, to build a sense of shared vision amongst organizations and individuals. Representative of Women’s Fund’s long-term investment in programs that serve at-risk girls, Fran is a founding member of the Girls Coalition and serves as its Steering Committee Chair. Fran holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Rochester.
Karen Blaire, Development Officer
Karen is a native of Miami and a graduate of Florida State University. She has five years of experience in non-profit development and joined the Women’s Fund in April. Inspired by her mother’s commitment to giving and service, philanthropy is a way of life. At the age of four, she was a Junior Orange Bowl volunteer, for the first time, riding on a float. In high school she was president of the Key Club. In college she joined Delta, Delta, Delta and is now a member of the Junior League of Miami.
Donys Callado, Project Coordinator
Donys manages the administrative tasks and keeps the organization running like a well-oiled machine. She is resourceful and always seems to find a solution to the challenges we encounter. Donys is pursuing her Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration at Florida International University.
