Peggy was a champion of the rights of workers, women, and the underprivileged. Her clear and consistent voice for social justice and equal opportunity for all is deeply missed. Peggy was a Women’s Fund Board member for more than a decade and a long-time member of the faculty at Florida International University’s Center for Labor Research and Studies serving as the Center’s associate director, researching and publishing in the areas of women and work.
